2026 Ford Super Duty Engines, Towing, & Payload Specs
Four different V8 engines — two gas and two turbo diesel — provide the strength to tackle a wide range of towing and hauling jobs in the 2026 Ford Super Duty. The most powerful Super Duty gas engine makes 430 horsepower and 485 pound-feet of torque, while the most powerful Power Stroke® turbo diesel engine makes 500 horsepower and 1,200 pound-feet of torque.
The maximum towing capacity of the Super Duty F-250 is 23,000 pounds and the maximum payload capacity is 4,426 pounds. With the Super Duty F-350, you can tow up to 25,000 pounds and haul up to 8,000 pounds of payload. Available only with the two Power Stroke turbo diesel engines, the Super Duty F-450 has a maximum towing capacity of 40,000 pounds and a maximum payload capacity of 6,482 pounds.

2026 Ford Super Duty Exterior Design
Tough, practical, and work-ready exterior features define the 2026 Ford Super Duty. Standard exterior features include heated trailer tow mirrors with power-adjustable glass, a Built Ford Tough® trailer hitch, and a removable tailgate. - Engines — The F-250 and F-350 are all available with four distinct engine options; the F-450 comes with a standard turbo diesel and offers a high-output turbo diesel engine.
- Towing Capacity — While every Super Duty is a towing beast, some are more beastly than others. In this department, the F-450 is the undisputed champ, with a 40,000-pound maximum towing capacity.
